JournaPlay

About JournaPlay

We build one thing: a tool that turns a news article into interactive games, so that readers stay with the story instead of leaving after the headline.

Why we built it

Newsrooms are measured on attention, and attention keeps getting shorter. A reader arrives, scans the headline, and leaves — and every second lost shows up in the numbers the newsroom reports at the end of the month.

Interactive content fixes that, but it has always been expensive. A single quiz or interactive graphic needs a developer and a designer and takes days. So it gets made for the big story of the month, and never for the other two hundred articles.

JournaPlay exists to remove that cost. An editor pastes an article, gets seven playable games in about thirty seconds, edits whatever needs editing, and embeds the result with one line of code. No developer, no designer, no waiting.

What we believe

Where we are

JournaPlay is built in Türkiye by a small independent team, for publishers in Türkiye, the Arab world and anywhere else that wants readers to stay longer. The product is live and in beta: it works today, it is free to use while we finish the paid plans, and we are looking for newsrooms willing to try it on real articles and tell us what breaks.
